A Shirt That Learned How to Live in the Tropics

The story behind No Me Olvides is connected to Panabrisa and Alberto Pons, a tailoring tradition that began in Panama in 1954. Alberto Pons arrived in the country with a craft in his hands and a clear idea: to create elegant clothing that also understood the heat. That vision gave rise to lightweight guayaberas made in Panama from linen, cotton, and natural fibers, designed to let the skin breathe without sacrificing sophistication. At the Casco Antiguo store, that heritage appears in shirts, linen pants, and designs that make a traditional garment still feel completely relevant today.

The Souvenir That Does Not End Up Forgotten in a Drawer

Here, the souvenir can leave the store already being worn. Guayaberas share the space with Panama hats, accessories, and other details inspired by local identity, making the experience feel less like shopping for a keepsake and more like putting together a small piece of Panamanian tropical style.

Maybe the name says it best: No Me Olvides does not invite you to take home something you will only look at from time to time. It invites you to choose something you can wear again—and with every button and every fold, remember exactly where the story began.
