Portomar was born from a simple inspiration: sun, beach, and that unmistakable Caribbean feeling that seems to call for lighter clothing. Entrepreneur Alex Viñas created the brand in Colombia with the goal of moving men’s fashion away from the predictable, and soon brought the concept to Casco Antiguo.
Its racks feature modern-cut linen guayaberas, tropical-print swimwear, hats, shoes, and accessories. There are even pieces designed for weddings and special occasions, proving that in the tropics, “cool” and “elegant” can fit perfectly into the same sentence.
Dress Like the Vacation Has Already Started
Walking into Portomar feels a little like stepping into a different setting. Bright colors, palm trees, and a beach-inspired aesthetic make the next seaside plan feel just a little closer.
The brand also created a children’s line, making it possible for parents and kids to coordinate certain looks and share that relaxed, tropical spirit across generations.
